How do you use Beeswax Wraps?
Rub your hands together, then use the warmth of your hands to shape, fold or mould the wrap around your food or dish you are covering. The wrap can stick to itself when pressed firmly.
Are they hard to look after?
If your wraps needs to be cleaned, used COLD water (never hot/warm) and a mild dish soap. Eith fill your basin/sink and rinse gently in there, or gently sponge off. Air dry on your line, or pat carefully dry with teatowel.
Beeswax wraps don’t like heat – so don’t use in microwaves, or ovens, or store in direct sunlight. Although they may get stained by some foods (i.e. beetroot etc) they remain fine for use. If your beeswax wrap comes in contact with raw meats or chicken it is important to dispose of it.
